General Information:

• Event Date: Friday the 25th of January 2025
• Event Venue: KONA MARINE SPORTS CLUB

Tentative Event Agenda:

What you’ll Need: 

• Sun Block
• Swim Cap
• Swim Goggles
• Swimsuit/ Trisuit
• Socks
• Bike
• Helmet
• Sunglasses
• Water Bottle filled and fitted to bike
• Towel
• Running Shoes
• Biking and Running attire should be Dress Code compliant especially that the Bike and Run Course are in public (we do not want to attract any unwanted attention)
• Clean clothes to change into after the training event

Safety Tips:

• Cycle on the far-right side of the road, and in the same direction of traffic
• Bypass other cyclists on their left, and make a loud vocal indication “To your left,” “passing you”.. to avoid collision
• Make sure your bike backlight is on and flickering
• Run on the far-left side of the road, and opposite the direction of traffic
• Stay well hydrated throughout the event
• Do Not listen to music on the course

Ticket Type and Price:

• Kids Race Registration 300 SAR
  Relay Kids Race Registration: 440-660 SAR i.e. 220 SAR per Team member (IMPORTANT NOTE: each team member is required to register online indicating leg of the race completing, and team name)
• Registration cutoff – 18/01/2025
• Kindly note Jeddah Tribe enforces a strict no cancelation, no transfer, no refund policy!

Point System:

• All athletes will achieve points upon finishing each Triathlon race in the Season ‘24’25 Schedule (total of 5 events)
• Points will be given according to overall race placement by Age Groups(Relay Categories not applied)

Seventh Place                            40 Points
Eighth Place                              30 Points

Eleventh Place Onwards          5 Points

• Missing a race will result in zero added points for that specific race.
• In the event of a tie, JT may (at its sole discretion) apply additional bonus race points for fastest swim/bike/run legs as a form of a tie breaker.
