General Information:

• Date: Saturday the 16thof December 2023
• Venue: Jeddah Yacht Club
• Race Distances:

  Olympic: 5km Run, 4okm Bike, 5Km Run 

  Sprint: 2.5km Run, 20km Bike, 2.5km Run 

• Aid Stations: Water, Banana, and Orange will ONLY be provided at the transition area, and on the run course (so make sure you are self-sufficient for the bike course)

What you’ll Need: 

• Trisuit (MUST comply with the Dress Code on pages 24-27 of Club Profile)
• Socks
• Bike (must be fitted with working back lights)
• Helmet
• Sunglasses
• Water Bottle filled and fitted to bike
• 2 Energy Gels or Bars
• Towel
• Running Shoes
• Biking and Running attire should be Dress Code compliant especially that the Bike and Run Course are in public (we do not want to attract any unwanted attention)
• Clean clothes to change into after the training event

Safety Tips:

• Cycle on the far-right side of the road, and in the same direction of traffic
• Bypass other cyclists on their left, and make a loud vocal indication “To your left,” “passing you”.. to avoid collision
• Make sure your bike backlight is on and flickering
• Run on the far-left side of the road, and opposite the direction of traffic
• Stay well hydrated throughout the event
• Keep your ID or a copy of it on you on the Bike and  Run Course
• Keep your phone on you for incidentals on the Bike and Run Course
• Do Not listen to music on the course

Ticket Type and Price:

• Individual Aquathlon Registration: 480 SAR
• Relay Aquathlon Registration: 760-1140 SAR i.e. 380 SAR per Team member (IMPORTANT NOTE: each team member is required to register online (indicating leg of the race completing, and team name)

Point System:

• All athletes will achieve points upon finishing each Triathlon race in the Season ‘23’24 Schedule (total of 3 events)
• Points will be given according to overall race placement by gender (Age Groups/Relay Categories not applied)

• Missing a race will result in zero added points for that specific race.
• The top 3 athletes with the most points at the end of the Season will be awarded Championship Prizes: 3,000 SAR, 2,500 SAR and 2,000 SAR respectively.
• In the event of a tie, JT may (at its sole discretion) apply additional bonus race points for fastest swim/bike/run legs as a form of a tie breaker.
